Shortbread:
8 oz flour
6 oz butter
3 oz caster sugar
Preheat oven to 325
Mix all ingredients together and press into a greased tray.
Cook for 20-30 minutes.
Caramel:
6 oz sugar
6 oz butter
2 tbs golden syrup
1 tin (400g) condensed milk
Method:
Put all ingredients in a pan and slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Hold at the boil for 4 minutes.
Pour mixture over the shortbread base.
Cool in refrigerator.
Cover in plain dark melted chocolate once cooled
