This is a fantastic dough for sweet tarts, especially mince pies
Ingredients:
7oz flour
1/2 tsp salt
4oz butter (at room temperature)
2oz sugar
4 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
Add flour, sugar and salt to food processor. Process briefly to sift and combine.
Cube the butter small, add.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Process in pulses until mixture STARTS to come together into a ball.
Dump out of bowl onto plastic wrap, form around the dough and squash into a ball
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Note: typical baking temperature is 375
